The creative flow of Yannai's Torah inspired
artwork is heavily influenced by Chumash,
Kabbalah, Midrash and Talmud; exploring
ancient themes with original insight.
The bold colors and intricately carved

Yannai is a graduate of the University of Minnesota
and resides in Minneapolis. He has been creating
Judaic inspired and inspirational work since the sixties
His work has been shown and distributed internationally.
Yannai's original artwork has appeared as cover art
for Jason Aronson Publications, Sounds Write
Productions and in numerous magazines including
Hadassah, Hadoar, Renewal and Jewish Action.
He has been commssioned for several National Guild for
Temple Musicians Awards and was a Spertus Judaica
Prize Finalist. He also has received the ADA award for
service to the people of Israel.

Artistic purpose: "as kindling for the flame which lights
a pathway towards Israel, Judaism and Torah."

His original works are primarily with acrylic
paint on stretched canvas. Many are suitable
for publication as cover artwork, as
greeting cards or for reproduction
in stained glass. Yannai accepts
commissions and has limited
edition prints available.
